Why is it important to perform blood tests for dogs?

Bloodwork is never wrong. It gives us an idea of what is going on inside your pet including how well their organs are working, ensuring they have adequate blood cells and hydration status.

How do I interpret my dog’s blood test results?

This is not recommended. Veterinarians spend many years learning what certain variables within the blood work may or may not mean. Medicine is also a continually progressive field, and always changing with the possibility of more than one diagnoses. Veterinarians are trained to access the bloodwork, along with clinical signs and symptoms to diagnose your pet properly.
