I was born in Masset, B.C., and grew up on the West Coast. I went to school in Kamloops at the University College of the Caribou and graduated in 1998. I moved to Calgary in 2001 and have been working as a technician since then.
I joined Acadia Drive Animal Clinic in 2008 and what I love about the clinic is that we all laugh a lot and have a good time. And we have wine o'clock Fridays!
The areas of veterinary medicine that interest me the most are anesthesia and surgery. What I love about my job are the busy surgery days - putting in catheters and pulling blood.
My first pet was my horse, Tanya.
Outside of work, you will find me in my garden, my bike or on my horse, Lacey. I also have a Papillon named Moxie, and two cats – Oscar and Alice.
Recently, my family and I moved out to the country to raise all our critters on my hobby farm.
